Megan’s Birthday 2011
Megan had a fun birthday this week. We went to the city library downtown and explored all sorts of places there.
Megan visited the library with her school class and wanted to bring the whole family along on her birthday.
Megan had fun opening presents in the morning…perhaps too much fun…she decided to save two presents to open a little later after breakfast.
We enjoyed the library, and the fun things to do there.
Here’s Autumn at a wishing well (sort of).
Megan needed a little help with that last candle, but she got it eventually.

Megan had a fun birthday with a few of her friends coming over to celebrate in the morning. We then went the aquarium and got to watch them feed the electric eel and the piranhas.
Disneyland 2010
We had a great time going to Disneyland this year. We participated in the Disney Give a Day Get a Disney Day volunteer program. Angie and I gave a day of service, and Disney gave us two free tickets to the park, so we went down with the kids and enjoyed two days at Disneyland. Grandma and Grandpa came for one of the days too!
The Peter Pan ride was really the longest line for a ride that we had to wait in
Disney gave us Honorary VoluntEAR badges to wear and park cast members thanked us all day long

The girls liked every ride.
Any Rabbits at home?
W. Rabbit's Home (Megan wanted to check out the name plate I guess)
The girls loved seeing Tinkerbell
Autumn went right up and hugged the Fairy Godmother.
The Girls had watched Mary Poppins over and over leading up to the trip, so it was especially great to see Mary Poppins and Bert

What's Disneyland without seeing Mickey?
Goofy and I are a lot a like
Our longest line by far was waiting for the princesses
Notice how they're all holding their hands the same way

Autumn’s Little Tooth
Autumn is proud that she lost a tooth today. Two permanent teeth were growing in behind her baby teeth, and this tooth is the first one to go. I was telling Autumn a story about when I was little Dad wanted to check one of my loose teeth, and before I knew it, the tooth was out. The same thing happened to Autumn as Angie was checking the tooth; she was able to get it out without Autumn knowing it had come out yet.
Autumn was pretty excited to have the tooth pulled and had trouble holding still.
