I was born in Grace, Idaho Nov. 11,
1925 to a happy young couple who already had 2 little girls, LaDeane age 5 and
Wanda age 3

            My Father
loved hunting, fishing, and baseball and probably would have liked to have a
boy, but he adjusted very well to three daughters and was a patient, loving
father.  I remember him yelling out in
the night when he stepped on a jack.

            I had a
happy, carefree childhood.  I don't
recall ever having a baby sitter, we did everything together as a family.  We went on lots of picnics, went camping and
fishing, and spent a lot of time visiting friends and relatives.  We had a family saying "Let's eat or go
someplace."
