24th Festivities 2009
We had fun at our 24th of July festivities. We helped out with the neighborhood breakfast, and the girls enjoyed the bike parade. In the second video below, the girls are in the middle of the circle, going in circles.

Pioneers 2007We enjoyed a great Pioneer Day this 24th of July. We participated in our neighborhood bike parade. We didn’t move as fast as everyone else, but that’s okay because we had a lot of fun. |
Grow garden grow. |
We decided to try out a new tradition of planting our “crops” or garden on July 24th to commemorate in our little way, the struggle the Pioneers endured having to plant so late in the season. We’ll see if we can have a little harvest from our crops. Of course, we cheated a little bit and have softened up the ground a little bit. The Pioneers had a tough go with dirt hard enough to break the plows they were using. |
