Halloween 2009

We enjoyed a fun Ol’ Hallows Eve. The girls loved the concept of getting lots of candy from the neighbors all whilst wearing costumes.

We took a little video as the girls were coming in the door from their quest for candy.  The girls sat on the couch and then started to take out all their candy.  Megan put her candy in straight little rows on the couch.

Fall Fun 2008

We’ve had a lot of fun this fall and are due for a few updates.

On a snowy, December evening, we visited the live Nativity at Don’s home. This year, two Roman soldiers rode up and down the line asking the ages of the little children and if they were boys to fulfill the order of King Herod. Seeing the soldiers was neat but also a little unsettling to know that 2,000 years ago, they caused quite a stir going after the baby boys under 2 years of age.

We went to Disney on Ice with the family and enjoyed watching Autumn’s and Megan’s faces light up with delight at seeing the Disney Characters.

The above picture was before it started. Her face did light up during the show.

Autumn had her birthday and had lots of fun at her first dress-up party with friends.

Megan had fun too!

For Autumn’s birthday dinner with the family, we went to the Mayan Restaurant.

We drove to St. George for Thanksgiving and went to Jumpin Jacks with the kids.

We also held a surprise part for Grandma Betty.
Halloween was fun with Glenda the Good Witch and Dorothy from the Wizard of OZ.

Halloween 2007

Happy Halloween

We had fun dressing up for Halloween. If you couldn’t tell, Thomas was a Jurassic Park Game Keeper who had to seek employment as a Zoo Keeper since the dinosaurs took over the park. Angie was a scarecrow. Autumn was Cinderella, and Megan was a Strawberry.

Autumn was super excited for Halloween, and enjoyed our neighborhood trunk or treat. Megan enjoyed chewing on the candy wrappers.

We learned about some family and ancestor superstitions which was entertaining as well.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!

Autumn dressed up as a strawberry. She loved seeing the other kids in their costumes. She also got into the candy and had her first licks of a sucker. Boy did she like that!

Thomas dressed up as an auditor, and let me tell you, that’s pretty scary to a lot of people.
