Autumn’s Little Tooth
Autumn is proud that she lost a tooth today. Two permanent teeth were growing in behind her baby teeth, and this tooth is the first one to go. I was telling Autumn a story about when I was little Dad wanted to check one of my loose teeth, and before I knew it, the tooth was out. The same thing happened to Autumn as Angie was checking the tooth; she was able to get it out without Autumn knowing it had come out yet.
Autumn was pretty excited to have the tooth pulled and had trouble holding still.

Autumn did a fantastic job for her dance recital. She performed on a big stage in front of a lot of people and had a great time. She really knew her routine. Angie asked her if she wanted to review the order of the steps while we were driving to the performance, and Autumn told us that she knew it, and she did!
Autumn’s Birthday Party 2009
Well, it looks like Tinkerbell is the next Disney Princes craze. We had a Tinkerbell themed party for Autumn, and Autumn’s friends knew all the names of Tinkerbell’s friends from the Tinkerbell movie.

The girls made neckalces and wore dressups for the fairy party. There were lots of beads that ended up on the floor.
They played pin the star on the wand (goes with fairy games), and they all got in line by themselves ready to play the game before we got down there.
The girls enjoyed running around with their wands to some Disney music.
The heart shaped ice cubes were a hit. They mixed in their ice cubes and it turned their soda pop pink.
Megan really did have fun.
A Future in the Vocal Arts
Megan and Autumn Favored us with some of the songs they’ve been singing recently. We figured we’d better get them recorded and sign the record deal now.
Megan learned “Take me out to the ball game” earlier this year at a semi-pro baseball game we attended.

Autumn enjoys playing soccer. We had a little bit of rain, but soccer is a tough sport. Baseball shuts down, but soccer keeps going. Autumn has made friends on her team and is enjoying the games even more than we thought she would.

More practise.
Those kids are on the ball like magnets, but there is often an athlete on the opposing team that for some reason likes to score goals…over, and over, and over.
She’s serious.
But she takes a moment during the game to waive at the fans in the stands.
Off like a rocket.

Autumn enjoys playing soccer. She’s on a team with her cousin, and they each kick the ball a few times per game (which is pretty good considering how many kids are trying to get to that ball at once). I see Autumn going pro in a few years.
Autumn’s Team, the Dynamite Dribblers have a fun time playing. They get treats after the game. Our coach and assistant coach are great, and there’s a good mix of boys and girls on the team.
We took a little HD video of one of her games (may take a little while for YouTube to process the HD part).
