Bear World 2007

Bear World

We had a great time a Bear World. It was very cold and snowy, but the bears and animals were still out and active. We saw bears roaming around, we saw Elk, deer, and even a big moose on the loose. We got to touch the deer. Angie patted the moose on the side, and I got to touch its antlers.

At Bear World, you drive around in your car to see the bears and elk. Keep the car moving we were instructed because we had heard if you stop, the bears may jump up on your car. At Bear World, they have a large towering truck that visitors can stand in and throw food down to the bears. It costs extra to do that, but luckily we got there just in time to see the truck feed the bears.

Once done with the auto-tour, you can visit the animal petting area, see the baby bear cubs, and walk out among the deer and see the moose.

Autumn and Megan got cute little stuffed bears to take home. The stuffed bear is almost as big as Megan, but she still loves it.
