Autumn is 6 Months Old

     Autumn is sure growing!  At her
6 month doctor’s appointment, she weighed 16 lbs 9 oz and was 25.2
inches long.  She’s a cute little girl.  

     Autumn can sit by herself and likes to do that
much of the time.  She is really good about playing with herself
and discovering new things.  Lately she sometimes prefers to play
with the tag on the toy instead of the toy itself.  She also loves
toes.  She’ll lie on her back and roll around holding her
toes.  Autumn still enjoys dancing and music, including the
ukulele.  She gives lots of slobbery wet kisses.

      Autumn makes herself heard with new
noises all the time.  She buzzes and razzes her lips, spits out
her tongue, squeals, jabbers, and loves to laugh.  It’s always fun
to find some little trick that makes her laugh and laugh.

     On May 9th, Autumn’s first tooth broke through!  It looks like a
second will break the surface any day now.  Hence, she chews on
everything.   

     Now that it’s warm and dry, Autumn and Mommy have spent a lot of time
outside.  We often walk to the duck pond and watch the
ducks.  Autumn gets really excited when she sees the other kids
there.  We’ve made some new friends.

     We sure love our baby girl!
