SHORT SKETCH OF THE LIFE OF NANCY ALLEN.

Nancy Allen, daughter of Andrew and Eunice Miner Allen, Was born 8 Aug
1827 at Willsboro, Essex, New York.  She received the gospel 3 Apr
1842 at Parma, Cyhg, Ohio.  And [sic] married Joseph Nicholas 1
Jan 1848.  at [sic] Parma, Cyhg, Ohio.

    They crossed plains by Ox teams in 1852 having two
children at that time, and settled in Bountiful Davis Utah where Eunice
Alice was born 8 Feb 1853 their third child. Joseph took his wife Nancy
to the Endowment House at Salt Lake City and was Married for time and
eternity 17 Mar 1854, The children living at that time was Sealed [sic]
to their Parents 22 June 1945 at Salt Lake City.
On the morning of 25 Jan 1995 Nancy A. Nicholas passed away from this
life, She [sic] died at the home her youngest daughter Mrs Rose F.
Durfee of Almo Cassia Idaho, After [sic] an Ilness [sic] of 5 days, She
[sic] leaves a son and 5 daughters and a host of grand�children to
mourn her departure, having buried three children before.  She was
a resident of Willard for 32 yrs. And [sic] has lived with a daughter
at Almo Idaho since the death of her husband the 15 Oct 1888.  In
her later years she was unable to walk only with the ade [sic] of a
armed chair she kneeled on.  She was a devoted L.D.S. esteemed by
all who knew her.  Her daughter accompanied her remains to Willard
Utah where she was laid to rest by the side of her husband in the
Willard cemetery,. [sic]
